Major Projects
We are pleased to identify the
following major projects as just a few of the more recognized jobs we have been
fortunate to be involved with:
- Boeing Customer
Service Training Center
This Boeing facility houses the fixed and moving aircraft simulators as well
as multiple classrooms and offices. The airlines send their maintenance
personnel and pilots to this facility for extensive training. The project
features over seven miles of indirect Peerless lighting fixtures.
- Boeing Headquarters
Building
The latest addition to the Longacres campus, this Boeing Facility is the
headquarters for the Commercial Airplane Group. In keeping with the design
concept of the CSTC, this building also utilized Peerless indirect lighting
fixtures.
- Safeco Field
Opened in 1999, Safeco Field is the new home of the Seattle Mariners. The
retractable roof design may be the most notable feature of this beautiful
new ball park. The lighting supports the nostalgic flavor of the
architectural design. Our involvement in this project covers a diverse range
of products and applications – from the parking garage lighting and control
to the suites lighting and control; from the restaurant lighting and control
to concessions, novelties, team store and just about everything in between.

Qwest
Field
Event
Center
Since opening in October 1999, visitors from around the world have converged
on Qwest
Field
Event
Center to attend
trade and consumer shows, corporate functions and private events. The
impressive West Hall hosts trade and consumer shows, gala functions,
auctions, concerts, large meetings, seminars and other events with
high-capacity needs. With 165,370 usable square feet, the West Hall holds
approximately 870 booths. The East Hall offers an additional 90,185 square
feet of usable space for west hall-hosted events. This innovative space can
be used for an additional 425 booths for move-in/move-out or as a private
parking garage. Suspended over the West Hall, the concourse level provides
overflow space for West hall-hosted events or for stand-alone events. The
36,860 square feet of usable space holds 120 booths. The concourse level is
ideal for smaller trade/consumer shows, receptions, banquets, luncheons,
pre-game functions and more.

Fred
Hutchinson Cancer
Research
Center Phase 2
This recognized center for research and treatment of cancer combines
state-of-the-art lighting with sophisticated lighting controls. This project
is one of the more challenging, yet successful, Reloc installations in the
country.
- Qwest Field
The Seattle Seahawks christened their new state of the art facility on
September 15, 2002. The stadium is configured in a horseshoe shape, with
three tiers of 68,000 seats. The north end of the stadium is open, allowing
superb views of the surrounding Seattle area. A 13-story tower with a
scoreboard at the top and bleacher seats for up to 3,000 fans, known as the
"Hawk's Nest," is also located at the north side. The new stadium is the
first of its kind to have luxury suites on the field directly behind the
north end zone. The stadium has a total of 82 luxury suites and over 7,000
club seats. One of the most unique features of the stadium is the
overhanging roof design and rainbow tri-chord trusses that rise 260 feet
above the field surface. The roof covers 70 percent of the seats keeping
many fans dry during inclement weather. Fans attending games at the new
Seahawks stadium have some of the best views of any stadium in the NFL. In
June 2004, Qwest Communications International Inc. purchased the naming
rights to the stadium.
