Position: Shipping & Receiving/
Warehouse Manager

Description:
Assume full responsibility for the efficient and consistent operations
of the Shipping & Receiving Department in order to process, store, and ship
merchandise accurately and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Generates ideas and
writes procedures that foster continuous improvement of organization and
efficiency.
- Serves as communication
link between customers, staff, & management.
- Fulfills scheduling
requirements
- Fosters a positive
culture
- Oversees accurate,
organized unpacking, tagging and storage of incoming merchandise.
- Works with the
Inventory Specialist when ticketing problems arise.
- Contacts vendors
regarding ship-shorts and/or damaged merchandise. Reconciles the receiver
(packing list) per vendors instructions, fills our necessary paperwork to
make inventory corrections on our end.
- Responsible for
maintaining an accurate On Hand inventory in the Pick-n-Pack/Distribution
Center through cycle counts, physical inventories, and adjustments in the
computer program.
- Works with Inventory
Specialist to distribute stock and pull pick & pack merchandise
(replenishment)
Customer
Service:
- Oversees safe, timely
packing and shipping of all outgoing customer shipments.
- Assumes responsibility
for assuring that customer will calls are available on schedule.
- Monitors necessary
tracking of UPS and other shipments.
Supplies/Maintenance:
-
Oversees inventories and ordering supplies
- Works with vendors to
establish price breaks and discounts

Maintains an orderly shipping area.

Position: Inside Sales and
Technical Support

Description:
Assist the outside sales team and quotations department in
the role of Inside Sales and Technical Support.
Responsibilities:
-
Create presentation package of technical sheets for proposed products.
-
Data entry of Bills of
Materials using Sales Assistant.
-
Take notes of verbal
communication at weekly sales meetings.
-
Data entry – Updating our
project tracking system.
-
Learn and maintain
knowledge of product offering & fixture specifications.
-
Assist customers with
finding information/tech sheets on products.
Secondary Responsibilities:
-
Light filing of project
files.
-
Back-up Customer Service
(stock check phone calls).
-
Assist Outside Sales department with misc. tasks.
Requirements:
-
Basic Computer Skills – knows how to save & search for items on a C: Drive,
My Documents, Desktop, etc.
-
Familiar with Microsoft Word - knows how to create, save, modify, etc word
documents
-
Familiar with Microsoft Excel – knows how to create, save, modify, etc excel
documents – knowledge of formulas not required
-
Familiar with Microsoft Outlook (or another email system) – knows how to
send email
-
Familiar with Internet Explorer – knows how to search the www, save
favorites, navigate websites, etc.
-
Organized Individual – Maintain a neat and organized filing system
-
Ability to Multi-Task – can stop in one place on a project, start a new one
and then pick right back up where they left off on the first project

Ability to Work for Specific Deadlines

Self-motivator
Qualifications Recommended
(but not
required and we are willing to teach to the right candidate):

Familiar with Microsoft
Outlook (or another email system) – knows how add contacts to address book,
add appointments to a calendar, create email filing folders.

Position:
Customer Service
Representative

Description:
Use strong verbal and written communication skills
to assist customers with product selection and order entry.
Responsibilities:
-
Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and product availability
for various manufacturers both over the phone and via email
- Enter purchase orders
in Sales Assistant and LightEntry systems (industry specific software – will
be trained)
- Follow up on orders and
provide tracking information to customers
- Check acknowledgements
and invoices to ensure material is ordered correctly
- Process RGA’s with
various manufacturers
- Develop and maintain
relationships with both customers and manufacturers

Learn product lines and be able to offer solutions to customers
Secondary Responsibilities:

Assist Outside Distributor Sales department with stock pricing, promos, and
misc duties
- Maintain product stock
guides and pricing
- Misc filing and monthly
reports
-
Back up for Project Management department & Receptionist (as needed)
Basic Skills:
- Must be a highly motivated, self-driven, individual
who loves the challenge and success of identifying clients' needs, as well
as cultivating and expanding existing accounts
-
Strong time management, verbal and written communication and listening
skills are essential
- Must be an organized individual who is able to multi-task and able
to apply common sense to any situation
Ability to work both independently and in a
team environment
Computer Skills:
-
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; know how to create, save,
and modify Word & Excel documents
- Must be familiar with
Microsoft Outlook or similar email system
- Must be familiar with
Internet Explorer; know how to search the www, navigate websites, etc.

Familiar with computer network – understands shared

Preferred Experience (but not
required):
- 2 – 5 years customer
service experience
- Knowledge of
construction industry a plus
